India Banned 59 Chinese Apps

On 29 June  2020 Ministry of Information Technology Of India banned 59 Applications. In which all these apps are related to China. These apps include like Tik Tok, Share it, and other popular apps.

Here is the list of some apps banned in India by Government:

In all these apps some apps are really popular and have a lot of downloads on google play store like Tik Tok and Share it.

Reason Behind Banned these Apps-:

Indian Govt. said that they examining closely and they found some of the risks with using these apps. 

The main concern seems to be the collection of user data and the unauthorized sending location of user data outside of India.

Step Taken By Tik Tok Company After Banned-:

Tik Tok has issued Statement on 30 June 2020 and saying that its not sharing data of Indian Users to the Chinese Government.

They Invite to meet with concerned Government stakeholders for an opportunity to respond and submit clarifications.
